From Owaka, head out along the Southern Scenic Route and discover wild coastline, native rainforest, waterfalls, windswept beaches and some of New Zealand’s most extraordinary wildlife. Walk out to The Nuggets, chase waterfalls at Pūrākaunui and McLean Falls, look out for seals, sea lions and penguins, explore on horseback or let someone else drive on a Catlins ATV adventure.
 

Once you’ve exhausted yourself exploring, cruise back to Catlins Hotel, claim a spot by the fire and order yourself a decent feed. Wash it down with your beverage of choice, tap into the Wi-Fi and plaster your socials with the day’s adventures while making everyone back home exceedingly jealous.
